Well...one thing is for sure. Walking (and working) out what God has you to do is not always as easy as one might envision, LOL!! It takes lots of good 'ol fashion elbow grease.Actually, we are lovin' it!
Being on the land is where we come alive and feel most connected. |

It's interesting at 50 and 65 years of age, that we would be starting such a venture like E.D.E.N. Most people are consider retiring and slowing down at this age, but we are ready to kick it into gear and start this journey to build a special place for people to be restored and worship the Lord.
We had our first charity fundraiser and it was such a blessing to have the turn out we did and the show of love towards us and this venture is simply touching. I pray we can live up to the expectations everyone has in us to build this community. |

Boy...do we come ALIVE on the land! What a blessing to have this property and vision to prepare for this project! I guess all those early years of both of us growing up on farms...even though we have "been there, done that" with many places and people in the world. |

Boy, I tell you, when God wants to get my attention, He really lets me know! Over the past few weeks I have been getting downloaded with not one, but THREE scriptures pertaining to trees by the water. He has revealed them to me at least 5 times in various circumstances. Check these out.
In the middle of the street and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree where for the healing of the nations.Rev 22:2 |

It's been some time since I posted
on here about E.DE.N. in the Mountains. This is intentional. Although
there have been many events that have taken place since the last post in
June, I felt compelled to wait until something "significant" took place
before posting.
Well....it's time!! Over the last 2
months (that's all it's been??) of searching for the land to build the
Wellness Learning Haven, IT HAS COME TO PASS!! And what a testimony it
is!
All the way Yahweh has orchestrated this land for us. |

Whew! Over six months of preparing for the application for our non-profit status is complete and in the mail! It has been quite an experience and MUCHO GRACIAS to our good friend and assistant Maria (what a lifesaver she has been putting all this together for us!).
After a prayer and anointing with oil we are standing on faith it will be accepted in a month (as was the case for someone else we know) and we can start searching for funding for E.D.E.N. !! The adventure continues to get interesting. |

The Earth Haven "Tour Group" Picnic I wanted to take the time to share about our trip in the mountains and give an update on what Yahweh is doing up here. We
have connected with some amazing believers and putting the people in
place that have the same vision as us to build a Wellness Learning
Retreat. Btw, we are meeting many people from Florida up here!!
We visited a Messianic service last Sabbath...was nice but I did not have
the bond that I felt with the ONMA family in Florida :). |

Once again...Abba is speaking to me about buying the land. I was at our worship service this past Sabbath (yesterday) and once again the Scripture,Jeremiah 32was apart of the service message! For more details on the importance of that, you need to read the previous blog post.
Not only that! But I have been praying for a Jubliee year(LEV 25)over our finances and the purchasing of the land. That wasalsomentioned yesterday...as it was several other times we have been there. Nothing really relatable about that to the message being taught. |

This should have been written on the 18th when He spoke to me as it is such an amazing Word...but I have not had much time lately to post, that is why I am putting it down now before anymore time passes.
Upon our return to N.Carolina on the 17th of this month, in which we had an opportunity to look at a piece of property as a prospective for our future home of E.D.E.N. In the Mountains, As I sat down with the bible in my lap at midnight (for I was too wired from the last days of traveling, a Sedar only a few hours earlier that evening, an upcoming. |

So, after years of thinking, praying and deigning in my head, I have finally found my DREAM HOME! An EARTHSHIP!!
This is a self-sustainable building made from recycled tires, bottles, cans, earth, straw , sand and whatever else you want to incorporate into the darn thing!
I love the free form structure and the thought of building our E.D.E.N. Wellness Learning Center from the earth just totally works with everything we are about with a natural lifestyle! And SOO creative! I am so grateful that God has told me over and over that the time is not right. |

Beginning a new endeavor based on a vision always seems like such a wonderful and exciting tasks....one that is nice to see taking shape afteryearsof prayers, patience and supernatural confirmations. It certainly is all that BUT....there is so many factors to consider in the natural which requires LOTS of planning, organization and PEOPLE to help with the mountains of things to be done.
With all that said, I am stepping out in faith...FINALLY!...As I still have a bit of leftover sting from starting, operating and closing our raw food eatery, The Almond BLossom Cafe. |
