 It's interesting at 50 and 65 years of age, that we would be starting such a venture like E.D.E.N. Most people are consider retiring and slowing down at this age, but we are ready to kick it into gear and start this journey to build a special place for people to be restored and worship the Lord. We had our first charity fundraiser and it was such a blessing to have the turn out we did and the show of love towards us and this venture is simply touching. I pray we can live up to the expectations everyone has in us to build this community. We will do our best. So, the first order is to meet with the natural builder and find out how we get started and what kind of funds and timeline we are going to need to build the HEART OF GOD sanctuary. The designs of the cob structures (like the one in the pic above) is so inspiring to me from an artistic standpoint. I can't wait to get my hands dirty and sculpt out the buildings with the mud of the earth! What a fun and spiritual experience it will be! Especially if we can get the workshop going by June. Oh, Lord....let your hands guide us and sculpt us as we guide and sculpt the mud to erect this place for your glory! Amen. |
